Greenjoules is a deep-tech biorefinery operating from Chakan, Pune. We take agri-waste and agro-industrial residues — materials that would otherwise be burned in open fields — and convert them through a proprietary thermochemical process into second-generation biofuels that are chemically indistinguishable from their fossil counterparts.

The critical difference: our fuels carry among the lowest lifecycle carbon footprints of any fuel available anywhere in the world today. And unlike first-generation biofuels, not a single food crop is diverted.

Agri-waste and agro-industrial by-products are sourced from regional farms and food processing units. Every batch is characterised and verified against our feedstock specifications — moisture content, organic composition, energy potential — before acceptance.

Incoming feedstock undergoes proprietary pre-processing — drying, sizing, and conditioning — to achieve the precise physical and chemical state required for optimal conversion efficiency in the downstream thermochemical reactor.
