Greenjoules is a deep-tech biorefinery operating from Chakan, Pune. We take agri-waste and agro-industrial residues — materials that would otherwise be burned in open fields — and convert them through a proprietary thermochemical process into second-generation biofuels that are chemically indistinguishable from their fossil counterparts.

Agri-waste and agro-industrial by-products are sourced from regional farms and food processing units. Every batch is characterised and verified against our feedstock specifications — moisture content, organic composition, energy potential — before acceptance.
Incoming feedstock undergoes proprietary pre-processing — drying, sizing, and conditioning — to achieve the precise physical and chemical state required for optimal conversion efficiency in the downstream thermochemical reactor.
The core of the Greenjoules process. Prepared feedstock enters our proprietary thermochemical reactor, where controlled temperature, pressure, and residence time convert organic material into bio-crude — a raw intermediate with high energy density.
Bio-crude undergoes catalytic hydrotreatment and distillation — upgrading its molecular structure to precisely match fossil fuel specifications. This is where the magic happens: waste becomes a product indistinguishable from what comes out of a petroleum refinery.
Final product is tested against BIS:1460 and international standards, certified, and dispatched to customers via existing fuel logistics infrastructure. No special handling. No dedicated supply chain. It simply replaces fossil diesel — at scale.
